John Kerry is out there, dissing the coalition, dissing Allawi, calling the war "wrong" - and, in the same breath, promising to win it... I think he thinks that Islamist terrorists are bad guys and killers, and should be prosecuted -- rather then seeing them as the tip of the iceberg of the tidal wave of a global radical Islamist revolution. It looks to me that Kerry's attraction towards consensus reaches the point of negating leadership. In any case, I think that Pakistan at this time is a more important world player then France or Germany, and having convinced them to be on our side was very fortuitous, and an important achievement. Many more things could be said.

I wish Democrats did nominate someone with true vision and integrity. Would be better for all.
