I haven't heard about any controversy regarding the DSM Jacobina mine purchase. I think that in retrospect, with gold prices being up since the purchase, it might seem like it was sold for a song now but maybe the price was much more reasonable at the time of the transaction. As for now, Stan seems to be pretty open about the activities at the company. There are regular and frequent live teleconference meetings open to questions from investors.
