I was alreay working thans to the so-colled economic 'miracle'. In 1973 Brazil's GNP grew 14%. The first oil shock send the country in a tailspin. The second was K.O. In 1982 Mexico defaulted in Brtazil lived through the debta crisis in which is called the lost decade. I left Brazil 21 years ago and have been outside the country for the last 18 wroking abroad. I know a bit about the result of the oil shock. can't edit sorry for the miuspelling im ion a hurry!!!!
