Bush Sr never foresaw 9/11.....

Neither did Bush Jr.

In fact, Bush Jr.'s administration did everything but tell the counter-terrorism folks to f-off, even as they were attempting to warn the administration of the danger that Al Qaeda, not Iraq, posed to the USA.

I see you're one of the 72% of Americans who have bought the fiction that Saddam was behind 9/11 rather than his antagonist, Osama bin Laden. Saddam had called for the overthrow of Osama! And you believe that Iraq was a greater threat to America than were, and are, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia. And thus this occupation is well worth the deaths of thousands and thousands of human beings and billions and billions of dollars and the establishment of a terrorist-recruitment spectacle in Iraq that Bin Laden Public Relations Inc would be proud of designing. Not one of the 9/11 terrorists was an Iraqi. Eleven or twelve of the fourteen were Saudis. Bush Junior was talking about invading Iraq two years before 9/11! He thought he was smarter than his father. He isn't. I believe you know it's a disaster and because you like some of Bush's policies, feel it incumbent on you to defend this example of utter incompetence.
