I will be surprised if this election is not ‘technically’ decided very soon by the nature of exit polls, Kerry will have very huge margins definitely in NY and CA, Michigan even PA with slight margin,(Pennsylvania, Kerry 50-46 percent, and Wisconsin, Kerry 51-45 percent) and states where his constituency of rainbow coalition is the largest and that will most probably count for the neck to neck polls that we see from most of the pollsters however the real ‘battle’ grounds in the heartland of America and swing states I think Bush will carry OHIO, FL and Wisconsin, people will not be gullible to the message of Moore, Moore message only helped OBL to write up his pre-election threatening Jazeera message. Big turnout so far means good for Democrats but in very early part of the day this turn out also helps others who been little slow to come out in 2000, democracy anyway shall be the winner..

Nov 1 - Reuters/Zogby battleground states (likely voters): Colorado, Bush led 49-47 percent; Florida, tied at 48 percent; Iowa, Kerry 50-45 percent; Michigan, Kerry 52-46 percent; Minnesota, Kerry 51-45 percent; Nevada, Bush 50-45 percent; New Mexico, Kerry 51-48 percent; Ohio, Bush 49-43 percent; Pennsylvania, Kerry 50-46 percent, and Wisconsin, Kerry 51-45 percent.

At 10:00, my wife and I went to Masuk High School. My wife was before me, we showed our ID, about 15 seconds. My wife got in line, I followed. Oh the line, was there one ahead or two? One maybe. Seems like as I got to just behind my wife, she went to an empty booth. In maybe 15 or 20 seconds another booth became vacant. I went to the booth, went inside, looked at the large setting crank. I read the ballot and looked at the machine, I figured out what to actually do to select or vote and then voted. I flipped the set lever back. Oh it seems another 40 seconds may have passed.

It was fast and efficient. But Monroe is a quite red place in Connecticut. Well now that I think about it, I wonder is this why Monroe is such a red place... hmmmm....
