The wierdest proposition for me is the 3 strikes reform. I expected that to get OVERWHELMING support from just about everybody. Instead, both major parties are against it, I don't get it. I voted for it anyway but with so many against it, I doubt it passes. I wanted to vote for it too... until I read that invasion of a house was allowed and other crimes like stalking, making threatening phone calls etc. were allowed too. That decided it. If they had only excluded really minor crimes like stealing a pizza or a pack of gum from a convenience store etc., then I could have voted for it.
