He looks like lincoln. And i am not a civil war buff, but if i remmember correctly Lincoln was not particularly well respected when he took over. Kerry has a chance but if you read Taheri in the nypost today, you will see what happens when a weird ideology takes over and i aint talking neocon here. Yes, transformations can happen but it's unwise to count on them. The natural conclusion of your logic is that the politics of the 1980s would have taken the same path if Carter had been reelected as they did under Reagan, circumstances being what they were & all. I think we can both agree that it just ain't so.
