Chimp took advantage of a national tragedy to put in place a preconceived agenda that had absolutely nothing to do with defending our nation. In doing so he squandered national resources of immense value, primarily consisting of the good will of virtually all of the nations in the world, but also consisting of hundreds of billions of dollars and, worst of all, the lives of over 1100 of our soldiers. Perhaps you do not consider that a betrayal, but the majority of Americans do.
