bradley almost lost to the then unknown christy whitman because he supported the florio tax rape back in the 80s. Florio tax increase was like when the Colts backed up the truck and moved out of baltimore in the middle of the night. As I remember it, the state leg session was also in the middle of the night right before a holiday or weekend. New Jerseyans never forgave florio and now with Toricelli and MCSleazy going south on them, my analysis may be right but they probably wont win, just come closer that anyone expected. Mike
