That is Gallup's number based on early voting and absentee ballots. Gallup leans right so I think it is probably a good number.

It squares with the number of dems vs. repubs who voted early.

Early exit polls predict Kerry will be victor

The polls put Kerry ahead in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Wisconsin. In the polls received, Bush leads in Colorado, Louisiana and Arizona. Iowa is a tie.
