Woodward became a rock star, thats why. NYTimes does great work albeit with a bit of bias. I used to read Christian Science Monitor. They were the best on international issues but i was back in grad school then.

am out of gas. Time to close up shop for the day and watch the results. More important to have clear winner and to send the lawyers packing than anything else.
Electoral college got to go and this antiquated 19th century voting system needs to be modernized. New machines wont do it. We have to have electronic internet voting for those who can do it and then the crush on E.D. will diminish each election. But after all is said and done, democracy is indeed a gift--whether we win or lose we can play and that of course is still very special. Probably wont be back until tomorrow. Good luck everyone. mike
