What ever happened to the idea about voting from your home computer? I really liked that idea.

We in NV will find out if someone can mess with the electronic voting. We have touch screen voting with a paper printout for recount that stays in the machine. We also can review our vote choices and change some if needed before electronically finallizing it and then print the paper copy. It worked neat except for one minor glitch... we are given a pencil with an eraser to use to touch the screen; the problem is that some idiots still used dirty, greasy fingers instead of the eraser end of the pencil thus smearing the screen and requiring cleaning before the next voter can continue - DOLTS
