Yes, I am well Searle, as I hope you are.

"And, I would add, that never before have so many people, everywhere, been wishing the American people the necessary courage and fortitude to do what they have to do -- because if they don't do it now it will be a lot harder, if not impossible, later."

You have a unique way of getting to the roots of an issue, one I cannot dispute.

Stay well,

Searle, let me say or acknowledge that some of the most dire predictions did not materialize, naimly that Osama was being held somewhere, only to be presented sometime just before the election. Or the fake finding of WMDs in Iraq.

Rightly or wrongly, Americans will decide, and there are a lot of thoughtful Americans still, and democracy seems to be working.

Unfortunately, history is replete with instances where the population was on the wrong side, and I don't really have any faith in the phrase "the electorate is always right".

I mostly agree with your sentiments regarding who ultimately wins, and although it may make some difference, I doubt if the big ship will or can be turned in any case. Unfortunately, we will be left speculation alone.
