What do you think about the electoral votes and popular vote?

As people on this thread know I am a Bush supporter----however I tried to be dispasSionate about the electoral votes and popular vote when I figured them at 2 a.m.
this morning.

There is a thread on SI that a few of us posted our predictions on. This is what I posted. Will be interesting to see how close I and others came to the final results.

The one defection was the electoral vote from W. Va.---one of the Republican electors said he might abstain or give his vote to Kerry. W.Va. has been declared for Bush.

Electoral Votes:

Bush wins with-------

Bush 286 -1 electoral defection = 285 firm

Kerry 253 + 1 Weak count = 254 weak
( with possible 21
of these going to Bush)

If these 21 go to Bush then it is:

Bush--------307 Kerry ------232

_______________________________________________

Popular Vote: Bush 53%
Kerry 46%
Nader .05%
Not voting .05%

Senate: Republicans No losses
Democrats No gains

House: Republicans 1 gain
Democrats 1 loss
