I don't think it has as much to do with the party itself as with the grassroots propaganda. It's the media (as Jefferson said) that is much more important than anything else. It's the FCC that needs to be pounded into protecting the Constitution as it HAS FAILED TO DO and on purpose even. The American Public is pliable and is just dumb enough and sheeple enough to switch sides. There's going to be a war inside the Republican party regardless. Remember the war? Remember the deficit? Those are going to bite all conservatives in the rear.
