Maybe billionaire George Soros didn't spend enough...rumors are that he spent around $30+ Million trying to elect a new leader for our country...I admire his generosity BUT maybe he should have spent over $300 million on various efforts to brainwash (I mean educate) Americans about what was really happening to their country...I saw NO hard hitting ads about Bush's reckless stewardship of our environment...I saw NO hard hitting ads about stem cell research...I saw NO hard hitting ads featuring prominent Republicans that are crossing over and endorsing Kerry. Maybe I just need to take all this in and sleep on it...Keep the faith folks.

The Democrats publicly accept the fundamental right-wing lies that underpin our imperialism. Then they suggest a milder course of action than Republicans, and they end up just looking wimpy. This election was Exhibit A of that pattern. Somehow, the war hero Kerry came off wimpier than the college cheerleader Bush.
