Until then, I vote for India and China to lap us soon. In spades. I think with the Northeast and the westcoast, we'd have energy independence well on its way. With inginuity, the MidWest could be brought along, as there'd be new industries in hybrid cars, etc. I still had that romantic notion of the reporter. Out there getting the story and the pictures. Showing the truth no matter how brutal it was. Those reporters are still there but they sure aren't any major network. There was the lovely Ashley on MSNBC who got sent away for speaking up. And where is Christina on CNN? Those who speak up on the major networks are now gone in a flash. Only embedded reporters all gaga over being uniform.
