It is mighty pretty for a reserve. And I think most of New Orleans wouldn't get taken up in the Rapture, and we could still wander Bourben Street. And listen to the blues in Memphis. And have a fine time in Key West.

As to the Rapture... well, if one is technical, no person knows the appointed hour. But someone is always trying to pick the hour. And pick the signs. I'll never forget on of my first initiations into life here when I was driving with a teenage friend and the sun looked a bit red and he freaked out.
It was a sign, ya know. But too many seem to wish to promote the "end", hence they can't be trusted with deadly weapons.

I've spent a fair amount of time in small churches here. Take the people using them for their purposes away, and it's rather benign. A new Martin Luther King might help.
