With Bush sitting at 269, only Iowa, New Mexico and Nevada are likely to go with Bush. Thats 17 EV's putting Bush at 286.

Other 3 states being Hawaii, Wisconsin and Michigan. All likely to go to Kerry.

That's true kb, by the standards of other elections it is close.

I also agree with you about the opponent. Kerry is the worst choice they could possibly have made.

However I think that this election is a lot less close than expected. Bush seems to have over 50% of the popular vote, and has substantially increased his margin of victory from 2000.
