I hardly think barely over 50 percent is a mandate, and a majority think we are headed in the wrong direction. So that is not a mandate for current policy. hmmm. And what is it you like? Do you like the deficit? Do you like the dollar diving? What is this mandate for? Will we go on bankrupting the country? Will Congress tie itself up with ridiculous votes rather taking care of business? Is this an "annointing"? Do we have an Iman now? What do you think this bare majority is for? And what did Madison mean about the tyranny of the majority? The last question is of particuliar interest to me.
