There were some people who suspected there were no WMD.
But those were guesses, based on a rejection of evidence to the contrary.

Recognition of the WMD threat was near unanimous in our congress and in every major ally.

To call it a lie now is disingenuous.

You believed a line from Kerry's campaign and Moore's movie. It was a twisted, misleading line ("lied about WMDs). It was not true.

Many democrats bought into this falsehood, but they turned out to be in the minority.
