I personally wish they would press on until that SOB is sent home from DC jobless. But I certainly understand their desire to retire now. They served their country honorably 35 years ago and I personally feel they've done a bigger service in 2004. God Bless the Swiftee's.

It's time to heal. Now, the vietnam vets can ask for their honor back without being accused of partisanship.

They deserve a nation that will hear them.

I think more than anything else, I wanted Bush to win this one for the Vietnam veterans.

The Swifties are heros, in every sense. They were very brave years ago, and have been very brave this year as well. They deserve a true old fashioned ticker tape parade!

Edit: One lady just called into KVI's Kirby Wilbur, and said "Thank heavens --we will have a President who doesn't have his picture as a hero on a museum wall in North Vietnam."

America owes Vietnam Vets and especially those who gave their lives a huge debt of gratitude and thanks. I don't know how our nation can ever repay them their service, but the people of America spoke yesterday, and one of the messages they sent was that you don't disrespect or disparage the brothers and sisters who sacrificed to defend and protect our nation.

John Kerry thought he could slip one over on patriotic Americans who believe in the cause of freedom and liberty. His efforts to further destroy that image and embrace the plans of the enemy after his return from VN was his undoing.

Thank God patriotic Americans recognized his deceit and told him to shove it.
