What this election says about the American people is horrifying, disgusting and revolting. I think it will be remembered as one of the most important, and embarrassing, moments in US history.

"We're going to self-destruct" -- I'd amend that. THEY are going to self-destruct, that's almost a given. The job now is to prevent them from taking the rest of us down with them. For every person who believes in a just and equitable society, the course is crystal clear: Keep the pressure on -- in the schools, the towns, the courts, the polling booths and in the streets.
