I'm really impressed with Obama, too. I'd love to see him have three effective years in the Senate and then run for the White House. Do you think the powers in the Democratic Party would allow that?

When I watched Obama give the DNC's keynote address in Boston I sensed 'Clinton-like' communication skills...Yet, Barack Obama is a strong Christian and a family man -- he WILL NOT let the GOP hijack the "family values" issues...Obama is a unique individual who can reach out to folks from many different backgrounds, races, and economic levels...He will be a true uniter, not a divider...He will have many of John F. Kennedy's great qualities and inspire our nation to create a better society and become a more respected global citizen...Obama will reach across the aisle and work with politicans from the other party to achieve substantial and meaningful results...Barack Obama will make our country and the world proud of him. IMO, he could and should become one of our youngest presidents ever -- in 4 years our country will need him...old line and established politicians should be rejected...Obama is one to watch...It will be interesting to see if the Democrats have the vision and the courage to nominate him -- in 2008...;-)
