Plenty of foreign stocks trade on US exchanges with ADRs; also a long list of ETFs and CEFs that cover most parts of the world you can think of. I have had 45-65% of my port in international plays for a couple of years now and done very well, far ahead of the US indexes. I think the dollar is headed down a long slope that US companies will welcome, since exports will be more competitive. If Joe Blow has to pay more at WalMart, they don't care.
