We are left with extremists at both ends. I suspect, make that hope, that Bush will move more to the center now that he no longer has to worry about re-election. It needs to be done if the GOP is serious about broadening its base.

I believe the only possible response by the democratic party is to, starting today, undermine the Bush administration in every way possible, and not let up until it is completely disgraced.
