Remember it won't be called the draft. It will have a cute name like Homeland Service Corps or something like that. But if it involves sending your kid for a couple of weeks' training and then packing him off to Iraq, then it IS a draft, even if it is called an "Around the world fun tour"!

The protesting won't help the kids that are sent off to war. I was told by a conservative who worked in the Under Sec. of Def. at the Pentagon's office, it is a done deal!!! I hope not because I will be protesting too..............in fact I have some free flights due to mile accumulation and I am saving them for trips to DC to protest. Like I said............I hope to God it doesn't happen but I don't know how it can be avoided. National Guardsman are already being told they can't leave..............there is a backdoor draft happening right now. One more terror attack and that's the excuse they'll use..............it's going to happen!
