I dont hear anything about UNITY in this speech by Kerry, disappointing to me. Its still US against THEM mentality. Too bad, I bet Bush does much better. jdn

Yep, with two terms in the White House, solid Republican majorities in the House and Senate (12 years running for the House thus far!), and Republican control of the Supreme Court and federal appeals courts... the 'Pottery Barn Rule' must apply:

If they 'break it', they own the results. It's all on their heads.

The massive deficits (trade and fiscal), the twin Wars, outta sight growth of the federal government slice of the economy and spending, growth in the secrecy and insularity of the government --- the problems rest at their doorstep.

The powers in charge must be responsible.
