Political civil war, eh? ... I don't know ..... .......... The Republicans definitely want an autocracy or, better yet, a theocracy. We'll get a better idea of the extremes to which Bush will go when Rehnquist officially declares he's resigning from the Court. We all know Bush will battle like a nut in Iraq. That war will likely bankrupt the US. Bush lives under the delusion that we have unlimited resources. He just believes in spending without taxing. It will be just as difficult for the Democrats to define themselves as it was for Kerry to define himself during this campaign. Quite simply, it is almost impossible to engage in a sensible dialogue with zealots, fanatics, and the insane. /john
