I don't understand either making or taking the challenge. I don't understand being certain about an election, either.

If the Democrats had run a candidate with an iota of charisma, another iota of 'naturalness,' and a wife that wasn't a PR disaster, they would have won easily, imo.

The unfortunate thing is that not enough of the right people took the challenge. That is, the really BIG Bigmouths, on bothh sides of the political spectrum.
Yeah. So it didn't work, didn't accomplish its purpose, and let's forget the whole matter. Had CYBER, Tom Watson, AS, and Chinu had the cojones to step up to the plate, I'd be the first to insist that Dave terminate them if they dared show up.

You, Quahog, and Po are a whole 'nuther matter. And don't get teary eyed about that or I'll pull up a few of your stock trades that didn't work! :-)
