This just doesn't make any sense. NYC is never going to vote for a Republican. The urban vote for Democrats is a well documented voting pattern, none more obvious than NY and CA. The minute the polls close, CNN automatically turns all of the electoral votes to the Democrats with only 2% of the exit polls complete. Trying to use urban support for Democrats as an indicator of obl fear is a waste of energy. Goodness man, get a hold of yourself.

Personally, I think its odd that Podunk, Texas, least likely to be attacked by bearded radical Islamists, would have more fear of terrorism than Manhattan. Is not an attack on any of us an attack on all of us? Isn't that the lesson of 9/11? A comment which will be forgiven for having been said in the sadness of the moment. You'll get over it. It's our payback for having had to live with Billary for 8 long years. vbg

Maybe Manhattanites are more fearful that they are targets with Bush at the helm. Some manhattanites smoke dope. Many were out protesting for the taliban when we launched the attack on them. It doesnt make them right. Also many of the folks who worked at the WTC were from the burbs and many of those burbs supported bush or at least had a more realistic view of terror than either you or the liberal manhattanites. And you call yourself a conservative....Hmmm. Gotta go, my wife will kill me if i dont go on vacation right now. Bye Mike.
