Actually, it is very demeaning to those who happen to belong to political parties, equating them with Jim Jones cultists. It also suggests that those who have party affiliations are inferior intellectually, without independent judgment. It slanders Bush and those who support Bush by terming them extremists. But perhaps the worst thing is that he professes the incredible, by claiming to be a conservative. Only in a Humpty Dumptyish sort of way could that be true: that words mean what he defines them to mean. No one who reads his posts would take him for a conservative, and he has not deigned to explain why he considers himself so.
