But you left out all the good football schools..oh I forgot..all that book learning doesn't coincide with playing football does it? It's a miracle all our highways don't collapse, and a shame we don't have to spend millions upon millions for something called "the big dig"....

I'm sure they are all good schools. But the incubators that foster development and technological advancement are not centered around our nation's heartland. The South and Midwest are predominantly rural. Less density equals less investment and development. Historically spotty desirability.
