I agree with him. I have an 18 year old. HE isn't going to fight in a war that is senseless............I have been through this drill once before in another time. My child will not be cannon fodder for the Bush agenda!!!

I applaud your brother's honesty. Renouncing one's citizenship and leaving the US is an intellectually honest thing to do. Many Hollywood-types have claimed they would do the same after the 2000 election but never quite got around to doing it... Plus, since the line to get out of America is a wee bit shorter than the line to get in, it frees up a space for someone on the immigration waiting list who would genuinely appreciate being an American and, if necessary, serving to protect and defend our country--MK--
