Sort of nuts. His "plan" is to give some non-US workers official status for passage and travel as a means of keeping track of them and their employers. He's said absolutely "no amnesty" but I have my doubts about implementing such a plan.

Kerry's plan was more even more extensive, closer to amnesty, and possibly more "nuts," I believe: children of illegals would be entitled to "instate" tuition in all 50 states (among other things).

Imo, the illegal immigration issue as far as the candidates were concerned was a choice between mediocre and worse. Neither was good--MK--
