Yep, the hurricanes that mashed Florida (sorry to those who live in that humid state and are intelligent voters) make it too expensive for the rest of the US to insure. That's global warming which the right-wingers keep denying exists. I believe that makes the gulf states too expensive for us to maintain. I believe New Orleans is sinking into the sea as it is. We would get an immediate boost from chucking out the dead wood that is the red states. We would no longer have to carry them economically or culturally and we would no longer have a divided nation that goes to war with itself every 2 years. The advantages are mind-blowing! That's it! Kick out the red states and make a NEW NATION. I'm very excited about this wonderful idea.
