Actually, taking into account the revised expectations, Google sports a 75x 2004E P/E and 60x 2005 P/E. You might be looking at trailing (i.e. past) earnings' P/E.

Not that it makes an enormous difference, of course, since 75x P/E is quite expensive. Its supporters are justifying this on the basis of its high growth, which I don't think will continue for long.
