This country almost elected, even with fraud, a catholic liberal senator from Massachussets with a muddled message and incompetent campaign staff and foreign born multimillionaire wife against an incumbent wartime president with the best campaign staff since Clinton's first run. This is stunning. The people hate BUSH. The world hates BUSH. God hates BUSH. For good reason. Bush is a baby killer. He's already murdered 100,000 people in Iraq half of them women and children including unborn children.

Abortion This is a key issue that lost votes big time for dems. I will explain something about abortion that seems to be lost on the general population. 1. Abortions ( TAB is the medical term-therapeutic abortion vs. SAB spontaneous abortion) are not done because women are whores and childbearing should be their punishment (this is the unspoken message of right wingers) they are done because women feel they are unable to carry this pregnancy to term for various reasons. Please give me a justification for making a child of 12 bear a child. This is more common than you think. 2. Abortions have probably zero impact on the number of live births. Women in this country have on average 2 - 3 children over their lifetimes. It doesn't matter how many abortions they have they still will bear children. To give you an example-- a woman becomes pregnant in 1980, 1982 and 1983 and has a live birth in 1980, a TAB in 1982 and a live birth in 1983.Had she not had a TAB in 1982 she probably would NOT have gotten pregnant in 1983. This woman only wanted TWO children. Get that through your thick skulls America. So what if she used birth control and didn't get pregnant in 1983? Did she "kill" that baby? Should we ban birth control? How about sex? The vast majority of women chose a permanent form of birth control after baby 2 or 3 (tubal ligation, vasectomy) 3. Partial birth abortion is the most ridiculous trumpted up charage of the right. It happens so rarely that it's a non-issue. It is used ONLY to inflame the masses. 4. Women generally use abortion only as a last ditch measure such as abuse, drug use, poverty, no partner, extreme defects in the fetus etc. 5. I've worked in white rich republican areas--believe me these right wingers have more TABs than the lower socio-economic group I currently work with. Republicans think they have hijacked morality with this anti-abortion crusade--THEY ARE THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITES ON THE PLANET. We have slaughtered thousands of innocents in Iraq namely women and children. My heart sinks when I realize the average Americans neither knows or cares about this slaughter. They think it's o.k. because it makes them "feel" safer. So their pea brains feel safer (even though they're not) and this is justification for murder of human beings. This is NOT morality--it is a travesty. Just wait until we flatten Fallujah.
