I did, too. When I saw that remark (before the ad), I told my wife, "We're going to see that 1,000 times before it is over." Such an obvious bungle, clearly reflecting the makeup of the man.

Bush is clearly coming out swinging. I think it is clear he views the congressional wins as a mandate to get stuff done.

If he can get enough Dems on his side so they don't abuse the filibuster, the potential exists for great progress in the next four years, I believe.

We could actually see the Internal Revenue Code fixed or done away with, Social Security take some first steps toward being fixed, and a Court that is more true to the Constitution.

The excitement is just palpable, isn't it?
