You don't have to be stupid to be swayed by propaganda. The right-wing propaganda has been rolling for 30 years because they know their time in the US is limited by simple demographics. They're running scared to death because they see that Texas and California and Arizona will soon show hispanics to be a majority. LA is already there I believe and Florida will likely get there soon as well. The fundamentalist concentrate so hard on the rapture because they see the beginning of the end. The USA is turning, demographically, into a moderate and progressive country with a very different ethnic mix and it scares them TO DEATH. This is the last stand and they know it. Time and demographics and education and science and globalization is actually ON OUR SIDE. That's why we will always win. The trick is to make the winning NOW instead of in years.
