How many times in your own life have your opinions changed? I like to use the idea of food and drink. Think how much that has changed just in the last several years.

First it was low fat this and that and eat lots of grains. Then we become a 60% obese nation and our children were developing diabetes at an alarming rate. Now the government, even with the pressure from the processed food industry, has changed the food pyramid and schools are removing soda machines.

Just now we're starting to see stories about how too much exercise can kill you early, make cancer more like and make you more susceptible to things like the flu. Things change as we know more and see the effects of our decisions.

The trick is for 55 million pissed off Americans to pound the Media, the government, the churches, the schools, the civic organizations, their neighbors with relentless attacks on the right-wing. Day after day, year after year...it's a marathon and it starts now instead of a month before the midterm elections.

At a Harvard symposium with the anchors from Major Media News, they admitted that conservative pressure made them second guess themselves and hold back on attacking BUsh's outright lying. Pressure works because the right-wing has been relentless in using it for a GENERATION.

People are malleable. They want to be sold to. They want to have people pay attention to them. They want to be comforted.

They accept being lied to as long as they don't have to admit they were lied to. It's just the nature of the human beast.
