Senator Arlen Spector (R-PA), a republican moderate and incoming chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has already suggested that Bush be mindful of that when the opportunity comes to nominate judges... cnn.com Note that Spector beat back a tough conservative challenge in this year's primary and won re-election by 11 points, even though Kerry carried the state.
