But the people of Mass. never had a say, put it up for a vote. Or are your afraid what would happen? Oregon is more liberal then Mass and it failed there 55 to 45

Let them vote..........if the new law is unconstitutional, it will be thrown out by the courts. That's how it works. Segregation laws were voted into power by residents of southern states. The courts deemed them unconstitutional and were thrown out. That's because the people are not always constitutional in their thinking. The law is supposed to be unbiased. People, however, often times are not unbiased. That's why we have courts. That's why the FF had the forethought to write out a Constitution.
