As I posted to someone else... everyone is too tired to fight. The American people spoken and Bush is our President. Given the majorities he has in congress, he shouldn't have much of a problem doing what he wants unless he goes completely off the deep end.

Of course, major changes hinge on congress' cooperation, so it will be interesting to see whether or not election results will foster bipartisanship.
