People lie repeatedly on who they actually voted for in exit polls. Hispanics and religious blacks don't like gay marriage, civil unions, legalizization of drugs, and other liberal causes...and they therefore don't vote for liberals. Dems all assume that just because somebody is a minority they owe their vote to liberal causes. Wrong wrong wrong.

AMERICA THE BRAINWASHED: democracynow.org Thinking people across the country marvel at the ability of the Bushites to get millions of people to vote on the basis of superstition, prejudice and hatred of "the other". Energizing the religious right with cant about gays, girlie-men and Islamic goons was a masterstroke. Appealing to the worst aspects of the American electorate seems to have worked for George Bush. Now America will get what it so richly deserves. The destruction of our great institutions of learning, the destruction of our industrial economic engine, the destruction of our Republic and the creation of a hateful, vengeful Evil Empire, intent upon the devastation of the very people who voted for the transformation of this nation into some sort of feral, superstitious, militarized zombie police state. We have reached the end of the Age of Enlightenment. And we've entered the Age of the Global Pickpocket. George Bush will be "enlightening" the wallets of Iraqis, Iranians and Americans in equal measure, and transferring the wealth extracted into the hands of a tiny kleptocracy. The Robber Barons are back!
