<<Just one lonesome cowboy on the range The pain is easing>>

After months of gyrations because of the elections. Wonder whats next?

I have not seen much exciting in the techs, but I dont look everywhere. Generally what goes up, comes down.

Most seem to hit a wall on the way up.Glw, Jnpr, Nok,Siri, Intc, Nte.

Other quality stocks can jump up or down 20% overnight which is a huge problem for any buy and holders.

So I just had to dump many stocks after wasting precious time and effort.

Even had to dump IGT for a while, but am back in it a bit. So why is it up?. Perhaps just because AGY got bought out or perhaps a new State gambling law passed which makes it pure speculation.

I see nothing today that I can recommend on the thread as a solid investment, and in my case I would do better just trading.

Dell is hanging in at the upper band, but we know Michael sold a bundle of shares. And it must be a favorite stock for the churners on the Street.

I am gradually reducing holdings but buying some dividend payers of around 8%. Also Looking at gold and oil.

Bgt some Devon but thats mostly because they are seriously drilling for gas around here. Three different seismic companies have visited my place asking for access, three rigs are running 24/7 locally, 4 wells drilled within one mile and another will be about 800 feet away.
One neighbor has 900 acres and from the present well spacing he will get about 20 wells, behind me is 2500 acres that might get up to 50 wells.

I am just making the assumption that oil and gas companies are very serious , making big investments and if the oil price stays up they should do well.

Hope this does not sound too discouraging - it is just different from the old days.
Geac , TTC, and Petm are some that appear to be doing well.

Sig
