Croc, the Republican victory is a mixed bag. Iraq is a mess, and the rise of the bible-thumpers is cause for concern. But I agree with some of Bush's initiatives.

For example, U.S. doctors are being driven out of business all over the country because they can't afford malpractice insurance. Thus the American Medical Association was supporting the Republicans with lots of money, whereas the trial lawyers were supporting the Democrats. Kerry even chose one as his running mate. Bush now intends to push thru a federal cap on jury awards, which I think is sorely needed.

I dislike Bush because of his environmental policies, but I don't like Kerry either so I wrote in someone else. Hopefully I'll have a better set of choices at the next election.
