The Red Welfare United States probably won't have the largest economy in the world anymore. I'm not sure they would, even if it was just Cal, Wash, and Ore. Those two may be enuf to move Cal back to 4th. Get the stem cell research going, and we may move up to third.

By itself, CA is the 7th largest economy in the world. More than likely, the new blue state country would rank 3rd or 4th.
