You are aware that agricultural products are a major US export, right? And a whole lot of that agriculture is done in that flyover country?

How long do you think YOU can last without THEIR food?

Good point! That's what trade is all about.

Having said that, CA, MN, WI, WA state, and OR produce a huge variety of agricultural products. Did you know that WA state is a major producer of wheat? The San Joaquin Valley in CA produces fruit ranging from kiwi to oranges to grapes. And there are almonds, olives, and avocado. Along the coast, they grow strawberries, asparagus, lettuce etc. MN and WI are great for corn and wild rice.

I think we'll be fine but thanks for the concern.

EDIT: Dang! I forgot papaya and pineapple in Hawaii! And great beaches.........cool volcanoes!

Forever. How long do you think you could live without ours?

(Forever being a relative term, since we all die)
