I say dump his sorry butt. I'd rather have him outside pissing in than have him help the dems thwart judicial nominations. Spector is almost as good at double speak as Kerry. His actual record does not match his rhetoric.

IF: ...liberal interest groups are expected to pressure Democrats to oppose anyone Bush picks. ...Wouldn't it be smarter to present a well qualified but more conservative person as the first SCOTUS candidate....have the Dems disqualify him/her, and then present a more right-centered candidate... If the Dems continue to disqualify people, it won't take long for the American citizens to see just who is causing the holdups..... The Dems won't like the results of that at the next election.
